Professionally, I'm a middle-aged family therapist who has worked for almost 25 years in private practice. A clinical member of AAMFT, I am licensed by the state of Virginia as a Licensed Professional Counselor.
I have a general practice and see people who are seeking to make changes in their lives. Many come in with mood disorders, usually depression and anxiety, chronic illness, and marital problems. I am seeing more and more young people, especially those in high school and, as I age, with whom I seem to be more able to connect with. I accept insurance reimbursement from most of the major insurance companies.
Far beyond that, I see my professional career as a natural extension of living a full and natural life.
